The Integra Program is part of the European Union's regional strategy to address migration crisis and the destabilising effect of the inflows of Venezuelans migrants in Ecuador. The program contributes to the recovery and reactivation of the economy through the implementation of a multidimensional care model, which incorporates Venezuelan migrants into the Ecuadorian labour market. Venezuelan refugees and migrants are thus able to integrate with dignity into the Ecuadorian labor market.
CISP Ecuador, as executive partner of the program in the cities of Manta and Quito, is making progress in the execution of the established lines of action through a dedicated project.
"No effort is too great for us women, because we are capable of facing obstacles and adversities that make us stronger every day".

In order to guarantee protection to migrants and refugees, we have provided 41 psychosocial services and 7 specific services on gender-based violence; we reached 23 rights holders and strengthened their food security through food cards. In addition, we have provided legal assistance and support to 46 people, 16 of which have obtained regularization in the country.
We also carried out 6 workshops on gender-based violence and 3 prevention workshops against xenophobia, with the participation of 198 teachers and 61 rights holder minors.
To ensure migrants’ job placement, we collaborate with private companies matching jobs’ requests and offers. At the same time, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, we have developed a training plan for employees on regularization, human rights, discrimination and xenophobia, and assertive communication with a gender approach.
In the context of the means of livelihood and the management of sustainable businesses, 100 RightsHolders have been identified and activated as entrepreneurs who will participate in transversal training processes that include topics such as: socio-emotional skills, financial education, cost analysis and management processes, merchandising and digital marketing. This process will be taught in coordination with the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí in the city of Manta and the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana in the city of Quito.
