Job as a Goal - Creating Job Opportunities for Afghan People
Description
The project employs a strategy that addresses the complexity of integration. It responds to the need for immediate employment while simultaneously supporting participants' medium-term professional goals. Furthermore, it focuses on building a supportive environment with companies and stakeholders, encouraging participants to create, share, and sustain independent support networks over time.

OBJECTIVES
Improving the effectiveness of integration mechanisms and access to employment for Afghan refugees in Lazio (Italy).
Activities
The project is aimed at Afghan women and men in the Lazio region.
Participants will be offered:
Italian language course focused on job-related communication
Workshops on employment contracts, protections, and workplace safety
Guidance on citizenship and legal protection
Job Club: a peer support group for participants to tackle the challenges of job inclusion
Job orientation workshops
Profit and non-profit companies, of all sectors and all sizes, will be offered:
The opportunity to meet, select, and train new resources that can contribute to business development and enrich the work environment
Collaboration to activate extra-curricular internships for professional qualification or re-qualification, tailored to company needs, from candidate matching to final evaluation
Output and results
At least 20 participants will have completed an internship or started a job; improved their knowledge of Italian; established a relationship with employment services.
