Emergency sanitation and shelter assistance for Syrian refugees and affected populations in North and South Lebanon
Description
As part of the international response to the Syrian refugee emergency, this emergency programme consists of 11 WASH and shelter initiatives implemented from November 2012 to December 2020.
The projects improve the living conditions of Syrian refugees in north and south Lebanon and their host Lebanese communities through: increased availability of safe water; improved and adequate sanitation and environmental conditions; better housing conditions.

Infrastructural works of extension/upgrading of drinking water distribution networks, digging of wells, construction of water tanks, supply of pumps and water chlorination systems
