The CISP 2022 general assembly took place last Saturday in Rome.
During the meeting, the 2021 financial statement was approved. As always, you can find it published, together with many more documents that talk about CISP, in the transparency section of this site.
CISP members were also called to vote for the renewal of the statutory bodies and social charges for the next three years, 2022-2025.
The Assembly unanimously confirmed Maura Viezzoli as President and Alessandro De Luca as Director and Legal Representative of CISP. Also, the current members of the Board of Directors, Silvia Declich, Maria Grazia Dente, Stefania Pace, Stefania Petrosillo were unanimously reconfirmed for a second term.
The meeting represented an opportunity to look at CISP near future, explaining how CISP aims to give substance to its mandate as an organisation that fights poverty and social exclusion through international cooperation and humanitarian assistance and acts on the commitments undertaken in its declaration of intent.
We are proud to share with you some figures that measure the impact of our work in the last year. You can find all details about this on our Social Budget, which can be downloaded here (in Italian). In 2021, we conducted 122 projects in 29 countries, reaching 2.75 million beneficiaries.
These figures are the result of the daily collective work of 1200+ women and men who are part of our organisation and who help us, day after day, to really change people's lives and to put into practice our commitment to make the world a better place.
We are grateful to each and everyone the perseverance, care, and seriousness they put into all our projects. And we wish everyone good work for next year!
